LGBTQIA+ youth between the age of 13-24 are 5 times more likely to commit suicide then heterosexual youth. These teens tend to be rejected by family and bullied by their peers, causing a higher risk of anxiety, depression, homelessness, and substance abuse. The lack of resources in our community have lent to much higher percentages and death rates amongst LGBTQIA+ teens. This organization aims to become a resource to provide a haven for those who feel like they have nowhere to go and no one to turn to. We pride ourselves in fostering a welcoming environment for everyone and becoming a catalyst for change.
